Moticon to open U.S. warehouse for reduced lead time in growth markets

Moticon's new U.S. warehouse streamlines delivery, benefiting North American customers with faster shipping and simplified import processes.
Moticon now servers U.S. market from local warehouse

Effective January 2022, Moticon started offering import and duty cleared products directly from a U.S. based warehouse for all customers based in the United States and Canada. 

The new infrastructure takes account for Moticon’s rapidly growing customer base in North America and allows professional customers to receive products with short lead time and without the need for individual import procedures.

Moticon had significantly expanded its direct business for mobile motion analysis products with research customers and pharma companies on U.S. territory since 2019 and was seeking to facilitate better response times and more customer friendly processes. Logistics heavyweight Gebrüder Weiss Transport & Logistics worked with Moticon’s logistics team to establish the warehouse and IT structure in 2021 and is now operating Moticon shipments from its warehouse in Des Plaines, Illinois.

The new logistics structure also serves to facilitate Moticon’s further expansion into the U.S. and Canadian performance sports and rehabilitation markets with its new ReGo product line.
